~There are 144 collegiate chapters of Delta Gamma located within the United States and Canada.

~Delta Gamma was among the seven fraternities that came together in 1902 for the first National Panhellenic Conference.

~Delta Gamma uses the word "fraternity" because the word is derived from the Greek "phratres" meaning "groups of people with similiar interests."

~The oldest alumnae chapter in existence is located in Lincoln, Nebraska.

~The first pin worn by DG's was a letter "H" which stood for hope.

~"Hannah" is our mascot. She originally had blonde hair, pigtails, and a sailor outfit. It is not known when Hannah became represented by Raggedy Ann.

~In the book Legally Blonde by Amanda Brown, Elle Woods is a Delta Gamma.

~At Spring Hill now, DG's have the highest cumulative grade point average out of all the Greek organizations.

~Delta Gamma has had one male member initiated, George Banta, who was a member of Phi Delta Theta.

~Delta Gamma was the first group to have a flower registered in they're name, the cream rose.

~The Golden Anchor was chosen to be part of the DG pin because it is recognized as the ancient symbol for hope.
